Our Story
EventLink Africa was founded by Cynthia Msimanga and co-founded by Owami Msimanga, two entrepreneurs united by a shared belief in the power of technology to create opportunities and strengthen local businesses.
While working closely with South African entrepreneurs and service providers, Cynthia recognized a recurring challenge within the events industry. Clients struggled to find trusted vendors, compare services, and make informed decisions, while many talented event professionals relied heavily on word-of-mouth referrals and social media to grow their businesses.
She envisioned a platform that could bring both sides together in a more transparent, professional, and accessible way.
To turn that vision into reality, she partnered with Owami, who leads the technology and product development behind EventLink Africa. Together, they set out to build more than a vendor directory—they set out to create a trusted marketplace where event hosts can confidently discover quality professionals and where vendors can showcase their expertise, build credibility, and generate meaningful business opportunities.
Today, EventLink Africa continues to grow with a single purpose: helping people create memorable events while supporting the businesses that make those moments possible.
